🚂🌴 Palma to Port de Sóller: A Journey Back in Time!

In September 2023, I had the chance to ride the iconic Tren de Sóller from Palma. This charming wooden train took me through the breathtaking Serra de Tramuntana, with stunning views of olive groves and orange orchards. 🍊

The Tren de Sóller was originally built in 1912 to transport oranges, lemons, and olives from the Sóller valley to Palma. The fertile region was known for its citrus and olive production, and the train made it possible to move goods quickly through the rugged Tramuntana mountains. Today, it’s a living piece of history and a must-visit experience for travelers! 🚂

Once in Sóller, I hopped onto the vintage tram to Port de Sóller with a picturesque harbor. ♥️

💶 Tickets for the combined trip (train + tram): €38 round trip for adults.

⏳ Duration: About 1 hour by train from Palma to Sóller, plus 30 minutes by tram to Port de Sóller.
